To celebrate King Charles III Coronation, Lymington and Pennington Town Council in collaboration with Lymington Community Centre are delighted to announce that they are organizing a FREE “Coronation Parade and Picnic” event at Woodside Park, Rookes Lane, Lymington. The aim of the event is to bring together the local community, groups, charities and families to enjoy and celebrate this momentous occasion.
After three long years of not having a Carnival, the Lymington Community Centre are arranging a Walking Parade at this event and would like to invite everyone to get involved in the Parade. If you are a business, charity, club, community group, school, nursery etc. that would like to take part in the walking parade please email carnival@lymingtoncommunity.com for a entry form in the first instance.
Alongside having the parade & picnic in the park, there will be a varied programme of events to appeal to all ages which currently includes:
• Live bands
• Organised sports day
• Fun dog show
• Kiddies funfair
• Hot and cold food and drinks
• Community, charity and market stalls
• Bottle Tombola
Come dressed in red, white & blue or wear your finest crown or tiara to get in the festive spirit.
