Mencap’s Islington Me Time group is hosting an event to mark the coronation at the Market Road ‘Wild & Green’ Nature Garden for a special event to mark the coronation.
In honour of King Charles’ lifelong dedication to the environment, we will be planting beautiful new fruit trees.
People from the community are welcome to join and there will be a chance to eat and socialise also.
Islington Me Time is a service that connects people with learning disabilities with activities in their community that they want to do. For the past couple of years, the group have been transforming the Wild and Green Nature Garden which was previously a derelict space. It has since come a long way and the group is now really looking forward to the chance to further enhance the space.
