Newton Abbot Town Council will be holding a town centre event on Saturday 6th May to celebrate the Kings Coronation. This is a FREE event for all the family held in Courtenay Street from 9am – 3pm.
The day will include live music in the morning from ‘Hot House Combo’ and music in the afternoon by ‘Cahoots. There will be walkabout characters and balloon modelling.
A special ‘Coronation Corner’ will be set up in the historic town centre Clock Tower, there will be a throne, robe, crown, orb and spectre for the opportunity for selfies, this will be open 11am-1pm Tues 2nd May – Saturday 6th May.
A book of congratulations will be in the Tower for people to sign.
