Ballianlay Choir is a community choir on the Isle of Bute. It runs at least one concert each year normally at Christmas. All funds raised are distributed to charities and good causes both locally and nationally. The choir participates in other local events and are guests of the Glasgow Phoenix Choir at their spring concert in the Royal Glasgow Concert Hall.
Their conductor, Mrs Fiona Shaw has led all recent royal celebrations on the island which have included all the local bands and inputs from the young people from the local dance schools and from our 4 schools. This year the celebrations take the form of a concert on Sunday 7th May with proceeds being distributed to our local schools.
