On Saturday 6 May, Thornbury Town Council will be hosting a Community Picnic, including live screening of
the Coronation of King Charles III, on the Mundy Playing Fields. The event will be free of charge. Timings and full details to be confirmed, but the event is expected to commence from 10.00am.
There will be a Royal themed dressing up competition and nature based activities for children, and the splash pad will be up and running. In recognition of the Great British weather, shelter will be provided by way of large marquees. Everybody is encouraged to bring a picnic.
Parking at the Mundy Playing Fields for the Community Coronation Picnic on 6 May 2023 is reserved for disabled parking only, and will only be available where pre-booked, subject to availability. Access is via Kington Lane.
