A special Coronation Choral Evensong with choir drawn from the local community featuring an anthem newly composed for the Coronation and commissioned by the Royal School of Church Music, The Mountains shall bring peace, by Joanna Forbes l’Estrange and a chance for all to sing the national anthem accompanied by the organ.
The ancient service of prayers, readings and music allows a chance to pause and contemplate during this important weekend of celebrations.
