Newlands Park is the home of Cheltenham Rugby Club and is an inclusive Community Sports Hub with over ten sports being played, with an annual footfall of 43,000. Girls and boys from the ages of six years are welcome, together with parents. We have excellent facilities and the clubhouse is open seven days a week for not only sports but also business events. There is free car parking and disabled access.Our gym is very popular with members of the local Community.
We will be celebrating the coronation by having a ‘Carnival’ at Newlands Park on Saturday 6th May and expect over 1500 to be present. This will be a fun event for families starting at 11am and there will be seven TV’s showing the Coronation in the clubhouse, with cocktails available. Sports that will be played with coaches on hand, include rugby, football, netball and tug of war. The entertainment includes live music, fairground rides, inflatables, stalls, We will have a BBQ and pizzas together with ice creams will be available.
There will be a great firework display in the evening for all to see.
This event will give the local Community the opportunity to visit Newlands Park and maybe children will either catch or kick a ball for the first time and wish to become a member.
