The Coronation takes place on the morning of Saturday May 6th, and we are planning a Coronation market/picnic looking to attract families from across the City.
In the upper castle park and from 10am will be Market stalls with treats and bakes to supplement a street party picnic theme. Our Market offering will include local Market regulars Essex Bakery, Brown bread, Manna Grill Street Food and Kezmet Catering, alongside community groups embracing our Street Party picnic theme.
The Tiptree Wilkins Jam company will be bringing a Vintage 1967 Routemaster double decker bus along to sell cream teas and cocktails.
At around 11:30am the Garrison Command will deliver a 21-gun salute (in the lower castle park) .
