Binfield Heath parish is holding a bring-your-own picnic lunch for neighbours, friends and families on Sunday May 7th, from midday. It is being held on the recreation ground, where we hosted over 300 people last year for a similar event for the late Queen’s Jubilee. There will be a toast to the King and we will sing the national anthem. The lunch is organised by the Village Society committee, funded by the Parish Council and supported by our Flower Show committee, who lend the marquees and equipment. Everyone who lives in the parish is a member of the Village Society, whose committee runs a couple of social events each year to bring people together.
