Shri Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple is celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III by hosting a musical performance led by the composer Joe Broughton, BEM, and 50 music students from the Birmingham Conservatoire. The performance will take place on the Temple grounds from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, 6 May 2023.
On the following day, Sunday, 7 May, the grounds of the Temple will be transformed into an ‘English fête’, with bouncy castles and games for the children, musical and dance performances for the adults, and plenty of delicious refreshments, the afternoon will be fun and help in building cohesion, respect and hope among the local area’s diverse communities. The Fête will open from 12:00 noon to 4.30 pm.
